Tonight's queer artist feature is Hannah Haley
Hannah Haley is a high-femme makeup artist and aesthetician in Austin, TX. She was pinching her cheeks for color at 9 years old, and has been working on faces for over 10 years. Hannah started her career supporting herself as a dancer so she could offer free makeup services for editorial photoshoots in order to gain field experience and build a portfolio. She got to work for some incredible, world renowned photographers, built an extensive portfolio, and moved to Austin to pursue makeup. Hannah immediately started working full time for Aveda doing makeup and concept directing for various editorial campaigns, runway, and teaching classes on skincare and makeup. She has since done celebrity, wedding, editorial, runway, film, and drag makeup. Hannah now continues her freelance makeup career and offers facial services at Kalologie med spa. She offers free makeup tutorials for trans people, and started doing sliding scale virtual skincare consultations during the pandemic. There is nothing more beautiful than the human face. Hannah is always going to be her very happiest when she is able to work on faces, whether transforming and highlighting with makeup, or revealing beautiful skin through facial services.
